Event Recap:
This was the first event at which we used the new JACircuits timing system. The system consists of
the JACircuits timer, laser timing heads at the start and the finish and Autox/TS software. The
timing system will dump times directly into the computer so the computer operator just needs to stage
cars and add cones to their runs. The timing system worked without a flaw, we didn't have to adjust
the timing heads at all during the day.
Pre-Registration worked well again, 34 people preregistered and about 27 of them showed for the event, with a total of 79 people, we finished registration by 10:00 AM. We decided to use a heat system to stage cars, this minimizes worker changes and maximizes successive runs. We will continue to run heats since it seemed to work very well at this event. The event ran on schedule, with everyone getting 7 official runs, and 1/2 hour of fun runs completed. We closed the event by 4:00 PM and had the site cleaned up by 5:00 PM.
